Need to gather high quality experience in an outstanding school?
Come and join Goldsworth on your journey to becoming a qualified teacher!
What is a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA)?
A Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) is a key role within school and includes supporting the class teacher with their responsibilities for the development and education of children in schools, delivering intervention programmes either 1:1 or in small groups. GTAs will also provide lunchtime supervision, assist with cover for class teachers and attend staff training.
The GTA programme is designed to provide an alternative high quality employment based route leading to initial teacher training for existing university graduates.
At Goldsworth, we aim to support, develop and ensure that GTAs are ready to commence the SCITT programme.
So, if you have a passion for teaching and learning and a desire to give children the best possible start in life, then Goldsworth is the place for you.
